Who

Jan is a daily music teacher at Ollerup School, music and singing.

He has for many years been a unifying force in the musical community in south of Funen, and he is therefore awarded in 2010, the Live Music Prize from DMF - a Musicians Union in Svendborg.

About Jan:

Jan is born in 1958 and has played and composed since teen-age years.
For many years within the rhythmic music, but from the mid '80s until the late 90s, he has had a large part of his professional work as a theater composer and musician and composer of music for videoproproduction.

He has played guitar and sung since he was 12 and was actually on television as 14 years in contemporary X-factor with Steen Bramsen.

Since 1997 he has primarily worked as a music teacher at Denmark's top music school, Ollerup School, singing and music, while he simultaneously played in various bands contexts: in particular the Zydeco-band Captain Crawfish, party band Rock Spot and instrumental duo Søgaard and Schønemann.
